Dear Friends of Polo Area Senior Services

We've had 23 years of service to seniors and the

community. We had fun times and serious times.
We've offered food, exercise, parties, trips,
counseling for various needs, classes, movies and
all things fun and educational you have asked for or
we could think of. Many families and organizations use
our facility.

With your help and the Blanche Jones Memorial

Trust, we have maintained our building with tuck
pointing, stacking chairs, a new sound system,
removing and covering a leaky roof vent, and installing new smoke, heat and CO alarms.

It is time for our annual membership drive. On Tuesday, Dec 6 we will have our membership dinner starting with entertainment at 11 am followed by turkey and dressing and all the fixings. We invite you to come to the meal and offer your financial support. Your support has made us what we are today. Your dues and attendance at fundraisers throughout the year provide funds to cover all activities not covered by grants. Grant agencies look to fund new programs and always ask how the programs will be maintained after the grant expires. Your support is our answer. Your support allows us to survive and thrive. Dues are $20 per year.

We are planning on the following projects:
* Installing automatic door openers on the front west entry doors - $5000
* Electrician for door openers - $500
* Basement cleaning and initial rehabilitation of basement - $5000
* Doors for east storage shelves - $3000

We are asking all our membership to consider making a special donation to help with these projects.

We use every dollar donated in direct and indirect support of our programs. Direct support is the supplies and director's time used in each program. Indirect support includes building maintenance, utilities, insurance and custodial time.

Thanks foryourduesandadditional donation to our special projects.
